The current forecast is not looking favorable for a concrete pour. At this moment we are still planning to pour tomorrow morning (4:30am), however rain may cancel our plans.
Attention Neighbors – Concrete placement will take place on two separate days. Due to the heat & traffic this process will start in the early morning hours (4:00am). This temporary early-start has been approved by City of Beaufort.
Due to weather delays we have been forced to reschedule today’s (9/6/22) concrete pour. We will be pouring this coming Friday as planned!
A new date for Pour #2 will be announced ASAP!
We are currently preparing the building pad for the foundation. This a big milestone leading towards pouring the concrete slab. If the weather holds out we should be looking to pour the beginning of next month!
This week installation of Aggregate Piers will begin. This is the process compacting columns or ‘piers’ of stone underneath the building pad. This step will take roughly two weeks, depending on the weather. During this process you can expect to hear and possibly feel the machinery during work-hours.
This week demolition of the old ball park structures will be completed. Grading work will continue through the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates!
Choate Construction will start mobilizing the jobsite 6/28. Expect to see fencing installed and light grading work begin in the next several days.
